JESUS LIBERATION MINISTRY
OUR BELIEFS:

The foundation of J.L.M is our belief in God as the only Creator of everything that exists; in Jesus Christ His only Son – God in the flesh, Who became the sinless human sacrifice for the sins of mankind through His death on the cross – and in the Holy Spirit, One with the Father and the Son in the triune Godhead, living in the redeemed children of God as our Comforter and Teacher.

We believe in the virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ as our only Way and Hope of salvation in this life, and in His continuing intercession for us at the right hand of the Father.

We believe in the Blessed Hope, the bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth to call His redeemed out of the earth, to live with Him in heaven for eternity.

We believe that the redeemed of the Lord, all who have accepted God's free gift of salvation in Jesus Christ, constitute His body, the Church, assigned the task of making disciples of all nations, sharing the truth of the gospel with every human being by every possible means.

We believe that God has a plan for the life of every child of His; that His desire is for an intimate, personal relationship of love with each one, and that this relationship is realized and appropriated through prayer, through a devotion to His Word, and through the denial of self for the sake of obedience to His commands.

We believe that the Bible, as written and preserved by the power of the Holy Spirit through the ages, is the infallible, inerrant, authoritative, divinely-inspired Word of God (2 Timothy3:16), and free of error.

We believe that the Bible is the powerful, reliable source of our knowledge of God and His purposes in our lives. Even as Jesus "opened the Scriptures" to the disciples on the road according to Luke 24:32, so today, we need the Holy Spirit to assist us by opening the Scriptures to our understanding.

We believe maintaining honor and love are some of the substantial issues Jesus spoke of in Matthew 23:23 and Luke 11:42. And we obey Christ’s command to show honor and respect those who disagree without becoming disagreeable. By choosing to do so (1 Peter 2:17), as well as prove to the world that we are His children, in that we love one another (John. 13:35).
